Welcome Buzzed Bull Creamery to Over-the-Rhine!

Buzzed Bull to Bring Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream to OTR, Alcohol Optional

This spring, Main Street in Over-the-Rhine will welcome Buzzed Bull Creamery, an innovative liquid nitrogen ice cream shop. Buzzed Bull’s made-to-order concoctions will range from traditional flavors like vanilla and chocolate to Cincinnati-themed flavors like Red Leg and Tiger Stripes, all with the option of an alcohol infusion.

The concept for an alcohol-infused ice cream shop started as a “What if?” and is now just weeks away from coming to life. Seven members of the Mounce family are partners in the business, which they say is the first business of its kind (perhaps nationwide). Buzzed Bull Creamery will be joining the dozens of new restaurants, bars, and shops that have opened in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood over the past few years, making the neighborhood a destination for entertainment and dining.

Kaitlyn Mounce, part owner of Buzzed Bull, explains the reason for opening in OTR:

“When we first started this journey and were looking for a retail space, we knew we wanted to be in OTR. Especially with the growth and development of the area in the last couple years, we knew the area and community were the place to bring Cincinnati a new concept.”

The liquid nitrogen process makes for a fast, creamy, and completely customizable product that everyone will love. With alcoholic items on the menu, the shop will cater to adults, but it will be family-friendly.

Mounce explains, “Because the nature of our process and being a made-to-order creamery, we really cater to those adults looking for a place to enjoy an adult beverage while also being kid-friendly. From the experience of the atmosphere to the fun of making your ice cream, its been proven to capture the audiences of both adults and children.”

Buzzed Bull Creamery is located at 1408 Main Street. It’s in its final stages of renovation and preparation before opening later this spring. Those interested in keeping up-to-date about the details of the opening can do so on the company Facebook page or website.

“We couldn't be more excited for the opportunity we have in OTR,” Mounce says. “The encouraging response from the community in welcoming us has left us speechless.”
